Beginning on May 30th, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird will take the stage at the Saenger Theater. This is Aaron Sorkin's stage adaptation of the classic novel. The play is directed by award-winning director Bartlett Sher and stars Richard Thomas as Atticus Finch.

Disney's Newsies is coming to the stage at Rivertown Theaters in nearby Kenner, LA. This Broadway musical tells the tale of a group of newspaper delivery boys and is based on a 1992 film by the same name. You may be familiar with some hit songs from this musical: "Seize the Day" and "Santa Fe."
Newsies is rated G, has a run time of 2.5 hours, and will be on stage between July 13 and 23rd. Tickets start at $38 per person. - PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure: 6801 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA 70112
If you're looking for a great show to see with your kids, check out PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure at UNO Lakefront Arena. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, August 27th, between 5 and 7 pm.
Tickets for PAW Patrol Live start at $13 per person. VIP tickets will soon be for sale at a higher price and will include a meet-and-greet session after the show. - Gretna Kids Playhouse Teen Theater Workshop: 740 4th St., Gretna, LA 70053
If you're looking for a theater event that your teen can enjoy while you're looking at New Orleans homes for sale, then the Gretna Kids Playground Teen Theater Workshop is a great choice. This is a two-week workshop that runs Monday - Friday from June 5 - 16th, 2023. It takes place at the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts and is open to kids ages 12 - 16.
In this workshop series, your teen will hone their comedic skills, gather basic acting tips, and enjoy a moment in the spotlight. The fee is $275 per child. If you enroll more than one child, you may be eligible for a discount. - Madagascar the Musical: 111 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70112
Madagascar the Musical is another great show to see at the Saenger Theater this summer. It tells the story of five animals that escape the zoo and have their own adventure. This show is appropriate for ages 3 and older and is scheduled for June 13th, 2023, at 7:00 pm.
Madagascar the Musical is a creation of Dreamworks, which is also known for creating Shrek the Musical. Tickets start at just $34 per person.
