This all-day indoor music festival focuses on classic Louisiana zydeco music, which is consistently fun and high-energy. Expect plenty of great food and drink at this beloved annual event, which is now in its 38th year. 

  • Creole Culture Day - 300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508
    A celebration of homegrown Creole culture, food, music, and art, the 23rd annual Creole Culture Day is guaranteed to offer a good time for all. The festivities take place on Sunday, June 8, at Vermilionville from 10 am to 4 pm and will include a wide variety of live music performances. Attendees can also count on enjoying some incredible Creole cuisine, and the festival itself is free to the public. 

  • Lafayette Artwalk - Downtown Lafayette, LA 70501
    Taking place on the first Saturday of each month, Lafayette Artwalk is a recurring event that spotlights local art and performance. The event takes over a large area of Downtown Lafayette each month, as art galleries open their doors, musicians perform in the streets, and local vendors set up art and craft tents selling local handmade goods. The next Lafayette Artwalk takes place on June 14, 2025.
